Lodge members attend convention

ERIE, Pa. -- Svea Lodge 296 served as host chapter for the 50th biennial convention of District Lodge Pa. 9 Vasa Order of America Sept. 27-29.
In addition to business meetings, election and installation of officers was held along with a traditional memorial service for deceased members and a Swedish bazaar.
Representatives of Harmony Lodge 465, Youngstown, were Martha and Steve Garasky and P. Shirley Larson.
The Vasa Order of America is a Scandinavian fraternal organization that strives to maintain Scandinavian traditions and heritage through cultural programs. Membership is open to anyone of Scandinavian descent or those interested in the culture and heritage.
