DIV. II SOCCER Snyder and Kausits pace Ursuline win

CORTLAND -- Freshman Mariah Snyder and junior Jessica Kausits each scored a goal in the first half for Ursuline High, which was enough to defeat Lakeview, 2-1, in a Division II girls soccer sectional semifinal game at Lakeview High Wednesday.
Snyder's goal was a rebound off of her corner kick while Kausits made a penalty kick. Senior Emma Starkey scored for Lakeview in the second half.
Ursuline (10-6) will meet Champion on Saturday in a sectional final at Champion.
Warren JFK 2, Girard 0
WARREN -- Lauren Natale and Melissa Peterson each scored a goal to lift Warren JFK past visiting Girard in a Div. II girls sectional game.
Natale tallied at 35:30 of the first half on a low drive from about 15 yards out, while Peterson connected at 12:00 of the second half on a penalty kick.
Warren JFK (8-5-4) will play in a sectional final Saturday at 1 p.m. at home against Pymatuning Valley, which defeated Maplewood, 2-0, Wednesday.
JFK goalie Michelle Rossio had six saves, while Girard (8-8-1) goalie Angie DePiero had eight saves.
