YOUNGSTOWN -- Peace Action Youngstown is sponsoring a bus trip to an anti-war rally Oct. 26 in Washington, D.C. The bus will leave Youngstown midnight Oct. 25 and return about 3 a.m. Oct. 27. The cost is $45. The organization also is conducting a fund-raising dinner at 7 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Peace Action house, 204 Broadway, featuring singer-songwriter Terry Murcko. Admission is $15, $10 for students, seniors and Peace Action members.

Crime-watch meeting
NORTH LIMA -- A Beaver Township crime-watch meeting will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 22 at Shepherd of the Valley's activity center, 9111 Sharrott Road.
