Library dedication
AUSTINTOWN -- A public dedication for the new Austintown Library, 600 S. Raccoon Road, will be Oct. 27 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Festivities will include music, art exhibits and refreshments. Hours for the library, which opened Friday, will be: Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday from 9 to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 to 5:30 p.m.
Harvest Fest activities
NEWTON FALLS -- The Newton Falls Public Library's annual Harvest Fest will be Oct. 23 at 6 p.m. Included will be seasonal crafts for all ages, a classic animated film, refreshments and a pumpkin-carving contest. Participants in the contest should bring their carved pumpkins before 6 p.m. For more information, call (330) 872-1282.
Teen Movie Madness
KINSMAN -- The Kinsman Free Public Library will host Teen Movie Madness on Saturday from noon to 3:30 p.m. Halloween costumes are welcome but not necessary. Refreshments will be provided. For more information, call (330) 876-2461.
