Drug-selling probe
HUBBARD -- Police are investigating complaints of two men selling marijuana outside the Haunted House.
According to reports, a father called to say two men had offered his son drugs about 8:30 p.m. Friday in front of the building on South Main Street.
Police were unable to find the men, who were described as a white man wearing a white hat and a black and red top and a black man wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.
Nude-photos scam
GIRARD -- An Elruth Court woman told police a man asked to take nude photos of her and wanted her to make a video he could put on the Internet.
The woman told police she answered a newspaper classified employment ad and spoke with a man named Nick, who told her to come to a Trumbull Court address Friday afternoon.
When the woman arrived, Nick spoke to her for about 40 minutes about a receptionist and a telemarketing job, before suggesting they go to the office so he could show her around, reports said.
The woman drove, but Nick refused to tell her where they were going, instead telling her the "real job" was posing for nude photos and making a video with him, she told police.
The woman took him back to the Trumbull Court address and left.
She called police when he called her at home about 7:30 p.m. and apologized.

Allegheny College funds
MEADVILLE, Pa. (AP) -- Allegheny College is embarking on a new strategic plan to bolster its endowment fund, improve scholarships and expand facilities.
"Tradition and Transformation: Allegheny College 2010" includes $30 million worth of construction.
The school, about 34 miles south of Erie, plans a $17 million theater and communications building, an apartment-style residence hall and the renovation of a building for an alumni center.
The plan also calls for doubling the $100 million dollar endowment fund and creating a diversity scholarship fund.
Officials say the changes are necessary to make the school's $23,100 tuition affordable for more people.
