NORTH LIMA -- A honeymoon to St. Lucia followed the Sept. 7 wedding of Jeffery D. Brown and his bride, the former Janine R. Zinz, both of Fairfax, Va., at Mount Olivet United Church of Christ.
The Rev. Melinda Q. Lacefield officiated at 11:30 a.m. for the daughter of Richard Zinz and Corinne Zinz, both of Austintown, and the son of David and Maryann Brown of Girard. Later an outdoor reception was held for the cople at First Presbyterian Church of Girard.
A sweetheart neckline enhanced the bride's white luxe satin gown embellished with embroidered roses and seed pearls. The full skirt fell to a chapel train.
The bride's cousin, Emiley Zinz of Columbus, was maid of honor. She wore a purple dress, as did the bridesmaids, Sara Jo Brown of Girard, the groom's sister-in-law, and Niki Hazlett of North Lima and Melissa Solinger of Valparaiso, Ind. The groom's niece, Gabriella Brown of Girard, was flower girl.
Serving as best man was Peter Cirak of Tampa, Fla. Groomsmen were Jason and Donald Brown, both of Girard, the groom's brothers, and Russell Zinz of Austintown, the bride's brother.
Mrs. Brown graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree and from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown with a medical degree. She is a resident in family medicine at Fairfax Family Practice Residency.
Mr. Brown earned bachelor's and master's degrees in economics at YSU. He is an economist with the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics in Washington, D.C., and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
