Sept. 30
Theft: A gas grill was stolen from the driveway of a residence in the 300 block of Afton Avenue.
Theft: A woman in the 600 block of Moyer Avenue reported her daughter's friend stole various prescription drugs from her.
Assault: A woman in the 4800 block of South Avenue reported being assaulted at a residence in the 7400 block of Glenwood Avenue.
Truck theft: A 1987 Chevy Blazer truck was stolen from a carport in the 5100 block of Aravesta Avenue.
Oct. 1
Shoplifting: A 19-year-old Beaver, Pa., man was arrested on a theft charge after a pack of cigarettes and a pack of beef jerky were stolen from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Theft, criminal damaging: An AM-FM compact disc player was removed from a vehicle, which had damage to its dashboard and passenger-side door lock, in the 100 block of Lemans Drive.
Breaking and entering, theft: Someone damaged a door jamb to enter a building in the 200 block of McClurg Road, and stole two tool boxes, six groups of manifold sets and a refrigerant recovery system.
Vandalism: Someone cracked six window panes at the Boardman Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road, and caused more than $1,000 in damage.
Theft: A dealer plate was removed from a car at Four Wheels, 5925 South Ave.
Stolen check: A woman in the 1500 block of Alissa Place reported a stolen $2,109 payroll check deposited into an account at Metropolitan National Bank, 670 Boardman-Poland Road.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 37-year-old Boardman man after a woman reported being the victim of domestic violence.
Theft: A 17-year-old New Castle, Pa., girl was arrested on charges of theft and obstructing official business after three clothing items were stolen from Value City department store, 1130 Boardman-Poland Road. Police also said she provided a false name.
Theft: A man reported his wallet missing from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Warrant: Police arrested a 20-year-old man at the Southern Park Mall on a Columbiana County warrant charging him with intimidation.
Assault: A woman in the 4000 block of South Avenue reported being assaulted.

Warrant: After stopping her vehicle in the Lowe's department store parking lot, 1100 Doral Drive, police arrested a 34-year-old Youngstown woman on a count of failure to appear in court to answer a traffic charge.
Theft: An employee at the Terrace Motel, 4972 Market St., reported a woman stole $65, a credit card and assorted keys from one of the rooms.
Theft: A cellular phone was stolen from a residence in the 800 block of Boardman-Poland Road.
Identity theft: A Salem man reported someone fraudulently used his identity to obtain various services at the Tower Motel, 5235 Market St.
Theft: A 10-speed mountain bike was stolen from a yard at a residence in the 4200 block of Chester Drive.

Assault: A Columbiana woman reported a 31-year-old man assaulted her in the 1200 block of Boardman-Poland Road.
Warrant: A 27-year-old Poland man was arrested at a Shell gas station, 998 E. Western Reserve Road, on a domestic violence charge.
Warrant: Police arrested a 27-year-old Boardman man on a charge of passing bad checks.
Arrest: A 16-year-old Austintown girl was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property.
Burglary: Someone broke into Subway Sandwiches & amp; Salads, 4927 Market St., and stole $350 in currency and a cash drawer containing $30.
Vandalism: Someone used a chainsaw to damage several bushes in the front yard of a residence in the 1800 block of Brandon Avenue.
Warrants: Police arrested a 44-year-old Mansfield, Texas, man on one count each of failure to appear in court, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and probation violation.
Theft: A 55-year-old Boardman woman was arrested on a theft charge after a Giant Eagle employee said he saw her leave the store without paying for more than $283 worth of groceries.
Warrant: A 43-year-old Youngstown woman was arrested on one count of domestic violence and a criminal trespass charge. A family member said the woman threatened his life.
Theft: Police arrested a 32-year-old Youngstown man on a theft charge after an employee at Gabriel Bros., 850 Boardman-Poland Road, said she saw him switch price tags on a pair of boots.
Stolen check: An employee at Cochran Sparkle Market, 4121 South Ave., reported cashing a $300 check for a customer, and that the check was later reported stolen.
Warrant: Police arrested a 34-year-old Pittsburgh woman at the Southern Park Mall on an Austintown warrant charging her with driving under a suspended license.
Criminal damaging: Someone dented a vehicle's driver's- and passenger-side quarter panels while it was parked at the Southern Park Mall.

Warrants: Police arrested a 17-year-old Youngstown boy on a charge of receiving stolen property, two counts of forgery and a charge of misuse of a credit card.
Warrant: A 41-year-old Youngstown man was arrested and charged with assault and menacing.
Breaking and entering: An employee at Catholic Charities Regional Agency, 4495 Market St., reported several signs of forced entry into the building. Also, another man reported signs of forced entry into a doctor's office in the building.
Auto theft: A 1989 Pontiac 6000 was missing from an apartment building in the 7400 block of West Boulevard.
Bogus checks: A woman reported someone fraudulently cashed two checks from her Metropolitan National bank account.
Theft: A 47-year-old Youngstown woman was arrested on a theft charge after a black purse was stolen from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall.
Warrant: A 44-year-old Youngstown man was arrested on a Trumbull County warrant charging him with contempt of court for failure to pay various fines related to a charge of driving under a suspended license.
Theft: Police arrested two Lisbon women, ages 27 and 31, on a theft charge after $417 worth of clothing was stolen from Kaufmann's department store in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: About $177 was missing from a safe at a residence in the 600 block of Moyer Avenue.
Theft: An employee at a Shell gas station, 5135 Market St., alleged another worker stole a $97 money order.
Burglary: A woman in the 7100 block of Glendale Avenue reported someone broke into her home and stole a laptop computer and prescriptions for Vicodin and other medications.
Auto theft: A 1989 Buick Park Avenue was stolen from an apartment building in the 100 block of Lemans Drive.
Warrants: Police arrested a 47-year-old Youngstown man on four counts of theft by deception.

Theft: An employee at Furniture Wholesalers Bedding Carpeting Furniture, 8431 South Ave., reported someone broke into a company trailer and stole more than $10,000 worth of furniture.
Assault: A man and a woman reported one assaulted the other at a residence in the 60 block of Lemans Drive.
Warrant: After pulling over a vehicle for going the wrong way on Tiffany Boulevard, police arrested a 36-year-old Youngstown man on a Berea, Ohio, warrant charging him with failure to appear on a traffic violation.
Warrants: A 44-year-old Youngstown man was charged with obstructing official business after police say he provided them with a false identity and other false information during an investigation. He also was held on warrants charging him with theft and criminal damaging.
Incident: An employee at Ziebart Boardman, 7880 Market St., reported a disgruntled customer threatened his life.
Warrant: After conducting a traffic stop, police arrested a 27-year-old Poland woman on a felonious assault charge.

Theft: A woman reported her daughter left a cellular phone at Friendly's Restaurant, 3 McKinley Way, and that it was missing when her daughter returned for it.
Oct. 2
Burglary: Someone broke into a residence in the 300 block of South Main Street and stole $800 in currency from a mason jar, about $3,000 from an upstairs dresser drawer and six rings from a jewelry box.
Oct. 4
Arrest: After stopping his car on Nesbitt Street, police arrested an 18-year-old Poland man and charged him with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
