VOLLEYBALL Crestview slips past South Range for 17th win

The Rebels also won a close match against Beaver Local.
COLUMBIANA -- Kelly Simmons had three kills, six points, two aces and one dig and Abbey Fristic added six points, two kills, two block, three aces and two digs for Crestview High (17-3), which defeated South Range 15-10, 15-12 in volleyball Monday.
Jodi James had six points, eight digs and two kills and Kelly James added two points, six digs, four kills and one block for South Range (8-10).

COLUMBIANA -- Mariel Montgomery had 12 points and six kills and Kate Kestner added six kills, four blocks, three points and three digs for Crestview. Lindsay Sapp added 22 assists, six kills and six points.
Sarah McCoy led Beaver Local with nine points and 11 digs. Paula Ferry added five kills, three blocks, three points and six digs.

COLUMBIANA -- Chelsie Colleen had 12 kills, three blocks, seven points and three digs for Beaver Local (16-2). Kaitlyn Hart added five points, two kills and two aces.
Natalie Biastro had 14 digs, seven points and six kills and Andraea Hazel had 14 digs and five points for the Raiders.
Struthers 15-15, Chaney 6-4
STRUTHERS -- Jacquie Trevis had four blocks and three kills while Teresa Vargin had 13 points to lead Struthers (9-10).
Lindsay Simstad had four kills and Jill Kocanyar seven digs for Chaney (7-13).
Kent Roosevelt 15-15,Warren Harding 8-11
KENT -- Jenna Simon had 22 assists, Jaleena Davis had three kills and Sharina Freeman had two kills for Harding (5-13).
The Roughriders are 12-9.
Lordstown 16-15, Bristol 14-5
LORDSTOWN -- Janelle Beaver had nine points, three aces, four digs, seven kills and six blocks to lead Lordstown (13-6). Christa Israel had seven points, four aces, four digs, eight kills, one block and Alycia Israel added 21 assists and four points.
For Bristol (13-3), Jaime Maraczi had eight points. Ashley Rasmussen and Shannon Burchett added six kills apiece.
Jackson-Milton 15-15,Lordstown 13-8
NORTH JACKSON -- Ashley Loutzenhiser had 12 points, two aces and eight sets while Shauna Durig collected nine points, an ace, 11 kills and three blocks for the winners (11-7).
For Lordstown (12-6), Janelle Beaver had six kills and seven blocks while Alycia Israel came up with nine points and 22 sets.
Poland 15-13-15,Springfield 9-15-10
POLAND -- Steffi Graf had 10 kills and 12 digs, Dee Muransky collected 12 kills, eight assists and 14 points while Raeanne Coppola was in with 11 kills, eight points and nine blocks for the Bulldogs.
Each team is 14-5.
