AUCTIONS
XAmerican Hungarian Reformed Church, 925 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor at Chinese auction Oct. 20 in the church fellowship hall. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m., and drawings will begin at 3. XPoland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman-Poland Road, Poland, will sponsor a "Holiday Hutch" fall bazaar from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 19. Homemade soups and pie will be available for lunch.
BINGO/CARD PARTIES
XNiles Catholic Women's Club will hold a card and bingo party from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at St. Stephen Church, 129 W. Park Ave., Niles. Lunch is included in the admission fee of $4.
CRAFT SHOWS
XColumbiana County Career and Technical Center Youth Clubs will hold a Christmas craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 3 at the technical center, 9364 state Route 45, Lisbon. Crafters interested in participating should contact the center at (330) 424-9561 by Oct. 21.
XSt. Anne Church Acolyte Society will hold a fall arts and crafts show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the church social hall, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown. Admission is free, and light refreshments and ethnic food also will be available.
XSt. Benedict Auxiliary will sponsor its 10th annual craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Sts. Peter and Paul School, East Market Street and Belvedere Northeast, Warren.

FESTIVALS
XArchangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church, 401 12th St., Campbell, will hold a Greek Food Fest from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday featuring lamb and chicken dinners and Greek foods and pastries. Entertainment will include youth games, traditional dancing, arts and crafts, and wellness assessments from noon to 4 p.m. by Humility of Mary Health Partners.
XCopper Penney Lodge 778 of Vienna will hold a pumpkin festival from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the lodge, Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna Center. Pumpkins, pie and ice cream will be available.
XLloyd Elementary School, 5705 Norquest Blvd., Austintown, will hold a fall festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday. A raffle also will be held. Proceeds will support the students and PTA.
XMcDonald Lions Club will sponsor its annual fall festival and apple sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Ramsey Pavilion in McDonald. The event will feature area craft vendors, apple and apple cider sales, and hay rides for the children. Proceeds will assist area residents in eye care and support the Senior Center Van, scholarship funds and other charitable causes. QUILT SHOWS
XDelightful Evangelical Congregational Church, 2473 Barclay Messerly Road N.W., Southington, will hold its 29th annual quilt show from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday. SALES
XEast Palestine Centenary United Methodist Church, 40 S. Market St., will hold a rummage sale from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on dollar-a-bag day Friday.
XFriends of the Hubbard Library will hold its annual fall book sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday. A preview sale will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday; cost is $5, and members are admitted free. There will be books, tapes, videos, CDs, computer supplies and jigsaw puzzles. Children's books and all paperbacks are 25 cents each; hardcover books are $1. On Saturday there will be a $2-a-bag sale from 2 to 4 p.m. All proceeds benefit the library. Donations of used books in good condition will be accepted throughout the sale.
XA trash and treasure sale will be held at Gibson Heights Second Presbyterian Church, 755 E. Dewey Ave., Youngstown, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Baked goods will be sold, and a light lunch will be available.
XLockwood United Methodist Church, 4570 Lockwood Blvd., Boardman, will hold a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to noon Friday.
