LAS VEGAS -- Lorrie Barnes and Richard Shumaker exchanged marriage vows during a 2 p.m. ceremony Sept. 14 at Chapel de Paris.
The Rev. Dr. Abby E.S. Durham officiated, and a reception was held at the Circus-Circus Hotel and Casino.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Hawaii, the Bahamas and Bangor, Maine. They are living at 2538 Tampa Ave., Youngstown.
The bride is a daughter of Kathleen Barnes, 12205 Goshen Road, Salem, and the late Harry C. Barnes. She wore a long-sleeved gown of Italian lace. It was trimmed with pearls, and a diamond beaded crown held her veil.
The bride's cousin, Lucinda Chamberlain of Boardman, was honor attendant, and another cousin, Ricky Chamberlain Jr., performed the duties of best man.
Mrs. Shumaker attended the TDDS Professional Training Center in Newton Falls.
Her husband is employed as lot manager at Frederick Dodge in Boardman.
