NILES -- Living in Austintown after a honeymoon cruise to the western Caribbean are Dr. James M. Kover of Niles and his bride, the former Christine McCormick of Austintown, who were married at 2 p.m. Sept. 7 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
The Rev. John MulQueen presided at the ceremony for the daughter of James and Margaret McCormick of Boardman and the son of Henry and Patricia Kover, 1520 Spruce Court. A reception was held for the couple at McMenamy's.
The bride's A-line satin gown was enhanced with pearls and featured spaghetti straps.
Navy gowns were worn by Christine Palmer and Kara Kover, the honor attendants, and the bridesmaids, Jenna Golias, Michele Nelson, Dawn Hull, Melissa Wayland, Barbara Kovach and Denise Kover.
Dr. Jeff Kover and Rick Kover shared the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Jim McCormick, Mike Palmer, Jim Tricomi, Justin Golias, Dennis Miller and Jeff Ponevac. Guests were ushered by Kevin Hamm and Rich Coupland.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree and is a clinical dietitian with Sharon Regional Hospital, Sharon, Pa.
The groom, an independent optometrist, graduated from Indiana University College of Optometry in Bloomington, Ind., and is an optometrist at Down's Opticians in Niles.
