MINERAL RIDGE -- The wedding of Rachael A. Carlisle and Eric R. Madden took place Aug. 17 at the Church of Christ of Mineral Ridge.
Parents of the bride are Randell L. Carlisle, 3384 Everett Hall Road, Cortland, and Robin M. Carlisle, 3886 Niles Carver Road. Mr. Madden is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Madden, 941 Highland Ave., Girard.
A reception took place at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Girard, and the newlyweds honeymooned at Niagara Falls, Canada.
They are living at 1225 North Road, Niles.
The bride's gown was designed with a basque waist and floral beaded accents. The skirt fell to a semicathedral train trimmed with satin.
Burgundy gowns were worn by the maid of honor, Rebecca Carlisle, the bride's sister, and bridesmaid, Courtney Madden, the groom's sister.
Dan Shehy, the groom's cousin, performed the duties of best man, and groomsman was Mark Mikulka. Serving as ushers were Mike Davis, Russell Stiver, Matt Johnson and Joe Costello.
Mrs. Madden is a student at Youngstown State University, where she is studying information technology.
Her husband, a student at YSU pursuing a degree in education, is a sales associate at Sheetz in Niles.
