Leaf collection
Liberty Township has paper lawn-refuse bags available to residents. The bags are required for the annual leaf collection. The cost is $1 for five bags, and they can be purchased from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays through Nov. 8 at the maintenance garage behind the township administration building, 1315 Churchill Hubbard Road (state Route 304). Only leaves can be put in the bags, and bags must be left open. Bagged leaves must be placed at the road by 7 a.m. on collection day. Collection days are as follows:
Nov. 5 and 12: South of Goldie Road and east of Belmont Avenue.
Nov. 6 and 13: North of Goldie Road and east of Belmont Avenue.
Nov. 7 and 14: North of Churchill Road and east of Belmont Avenue.
Nov. 8 and 15: West of Belmont Avenue.
