THURMAN -- Cheryl Renee Darnell and Cory Philmore Kerr were married at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 5 at Thurman United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Giles Hoover officiated for the daughter of Kathaleen Darnell of Thurman and the late William L. Darnell and the son of Vonda and Phil Kerr, 2144 W. Garfield Road, Columbiana.
A reception followed at Lewis Family Restaurant in Jackson.
The couple honeymooned at Treasure Island, Fla., and live at 294 Merritt Road.
A postnuptial reception is planned for Oct. 26 at Das Dutch Village Inn, Columbiana.
The bride wore a white gown. Her sister, Kathy Brace, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Heather Bond, Karen Travis and Heather Collins. They wore wine-colored gowns. The bride's nieces, Michaelyn and Malayna Brace, were flower girls.
Jason Asher performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Christopher Kerr, the groom's brother, and Travis and Justin Kerr, his cousins. Ring bearer was Caleb Darnell, the bride's nephew, and ushers were Craig Kerr, the groom's brother, and Ronald Darnell, the bride's brother.
A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Rio Grande in Rio Grande, Mrs. Kerr works in the office at Bob Evans Farm, Bidwell Plant.
Her husband holds an associate degree in forestry from Hocking Technical College, Nelsonville. He is an equipment operator at Zaleski State Forest in Zaleski.
