MANTUA -- Dr. Emily Claire Zane, daughter of Carter and Mary Ann Zane, Crackle Road, and Dr. Randall John Voytilla, son of George and Mary Voytilla, Sixth Street, Struthers, were united in marriage Aug. 31 at St. Joseph Church.
The Rev. Thomas McCarthy presided at the 2 p.m. ceremony, and afterward the couple were honored during a reception at the Walden Golf and Tennis Club in Aurora.
They honeymooned in Aruba and live in Pittsburgh.
The bride, who is retaining her maiden name, graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree in biology and earned her doctorate of optometry degree at Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Philadelphia.
The groom is pursuing his doctorate in pharmaceutics at Duquesne University, where he graduated with a doctor of pharmacy degree.
Honor attendants for the bride were Amy Cordaro and Amy Hartline, and bridesmaids were Amy Cebular; Serena Reisyan; Kristin Dickson; Julia, Emma, Julie and Suzanne Kropp, cousins of the bride; and Valerie Voytilla, the groom's sister. They wore wine-colored gowns.
Sharing the duties of best man were Gregory Voytilla, brother of the groom, and Jeremy Noble. Serving as groomsmen were Len Kolencik; Aditya Wakankar; Rob Garmise; Evan Zane, the bride's brother; Mike Fraundorfer; and Tim and Tom Styranec.
