Miss Phillipson, Douglas Christy to be married

NILES -- Nov. 9 has been chosen for the wedding of Patricia Phillipson, 870 Frederick St., and Douglas Christy, 8954 Howland-Wilson Road, Warren, whose engagement is being announced by her parents, Charles and Nancy Phillipson of the Frederick Street address.
The prospective groom is a son of David Christy of Warren and Cara Smeltzer of Niles.
The couple will exchange vows during an open ceremony at 3 p.m. that day at First United Methodist Church, and a reception by invitation will be held that evening at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre in Liberty.
A graduate of Ohio State University in Columbus with a bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising, Miss Phillipson is an assistant manager for National City Bank in Warren.
The future groom earned a bachelor's degree in pharmacy at OSU and is employed as a pharmacist at Target.
