VOLLEYBALL Stanyard leads way for Poland



She led the Bulldogs to 15-7, 15-11 wins over South Range.
NORTH LIMA -- Kristen Stanyard scored 10 points and had six digs and 11 assists, to lead the Poland High volleyball team to a 15-7, 15-11 win over South Range Monday.
Dee Muransky added 10 points, four aces and six kills while Steffi Graf had three aces, eight digs and five kills for the Bulldogs (11-5).
For the Raiders (6-8), Jodi James had 10 digs, five kills and three blocks, Kelly Skrinyer had six points and nine assists and Natalie Biastro chipped in with five points and four digs.
Warren Harding 17-15,Rayen 15-6
WARREN -- Whitney Parson had 10 points, Sharina Freeman five kills, Jenna Simon 17 assists and Tasha Davis three kills to lead Warren Harding (3-12) at the Raiders' gym.
For Rayen (7-9), Natasha Clemons had nine points, Brittany Hines 20 assists and Ashley Myers three blocks.
Lordstown 15-15,Southington 0-11
SOUTHINGTON -- Emily Rech collected 11 points with an ace while Julie Thompson added nine points and an ace for Lordstown (11-5).
Chaney 15-15, Mooney 11-8
YOUNGSTOWN -- Jill Kocanyar had seven points, four aces and five kills and Megan Simstad had seven points, three aces and six digs for Chaney (4-11) in a win over Mooney last week.
Danielle Daltorio had six points and seven digs and Wendy Jackson had 12 assists for Mooney (3-9).
Chaney 15-15, Ursuline 9-13
YOUNGSTOWN -- Lindsay Simstad had eight points and seven digs and Courtney Williams added eight kills for Chaney (5-11) in a win over Ursuline last week.
Jenna Kiraly had 12 assists and six digs and Lauren Reinhardt had six kills for Ursuline.
