Cortland Bancorpdeclares dividends
CORTLAND -- Cortland Bancorp has declared a regular quarterly dividend of 22 cents a share, a special dividend of 22 cents a share and a 3-percent stock dividend. All dividends are payable Jan. 3 to shareholders of record Dec. 13.

Alcoa to sell foil plant,but not close facility
RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. -- An Alcoa Inc. foil plant at Russellville is up for sale, though the company says it does not plan to close the facility.
"This is not a plant shutdown notice at all, just a notice that the plant here does not quite fit within the business strategies of Alcoa's foil business and that we do intend to sell," Alcoa spokesman Mike Cooper said.
Plant manager Richard Kirchhoff advised the 50 employees of the plant earlier this week that Pittsburgh-based Alcoa wants to sell the plant. Alcoa insisted that the plant would remain open while seeking a buyer.
