Pandemonium possible
PITTSBURGH (AP) -- A hot football rivalry mixed with a holiday parade could create a traffic stew in Pittsburgh on Saturday.
Fifth Avenue and a section of Liberty Avenue in downtown Pittsburgh will be closed for the 22nd annual "Celebrate the Season" parade, which is set to begin at 9 a.m. and usually ends by 11 a.m.
At the same time, fans will probably be heading to the city's North Shore to tailgate before the Pittsburgh-West Virginia football game, which starts at 1 p.m. at Heinz Field. The game is a sellout of 65,000, and the teams sold 2,000 standing-room seats.
