BESSEMER -- Shawn Carr scored 18 points Friday to lead the Mohawk High basketball team to an easy 49-28 victory over Wilmington.
Jeremy Gebhart scored nine points and JoJo Sackin added seven for the Warriors (1-0).
Nick Sheehan led the Greyhounds (0-1) with 12 points.
Farrell 85, Hickory 59
FARRELL -- Brian Dungee fired in 22 points, Chez Philips 16 and Dominque 14 for the Steelers (1-0).
Farrell built a commanding 61-37 lead by the end of the third quarter.
Nick Mastrian led the Hornets with 11 points.
