AUSTINTOWN Fatal fire's cause is probed
Firefighters found flames on the first floor at about 10:20 a.m.
AUSTINTOWN -- Arson investigators are looking into the cause of a fatal fire Friday at 278 Ohltown Road.
A man who lived at the home was found dead on the second floor.
The cause of his death had not been determined Friday night.
Austintown firefighters said the Mahoning County Coroner's office would release the man's identity once his relatives were notified of his death.

Firefighters found flames on the first floor of the home at about 10:20 a.m. Smoke from the fire was wafting across the road.
Firefighters had the blaze under control in about 45 minutes. Arson investigators stayed at the home until about 2:15 p.m., however, looking for the cause of the fire.
The home was destroyed. Damage was estimated at about $40,000.
Firefighters said it was the first fatal fire in Austintown in about 10 years.
