BECKY SHER | Hype Fragrance suits any situation

The thing about American Eagle's new fragrance, Aura, is that it's always changing. One minute, it smells sweet and fruity, a little like strawberries and grapefruit. The next minute, it's more floral, with a touch of rose. We guess the whole concept of change is sort of what Aura's creators were going for, since they packaged the scent in a bottle decorated with interchangeable colored rings (pink, green and blue), so you can match the bottle to your mood (or your outfit).
We think the whole changing bottle bit might be going just a little too far, but that doesn't mean we don't love the fragrance. With hints of magnolia blossom, jasmine, violet and cedar wood, there's no one note that's overwhelming, and Aura is just right for whatever you happen to have planned. It's one of those go-anywhere fragrances that works just as well for pizza with the gang as it does for a night out with your special guy. How many perfumes can say that?
Aura is $25 for a 1.7-ounce spray, at all AE stores and www.ae.com.
Cool kit
You've been dumped. Jilted. Cast aside. Dropped like a bad habit.
We've been there, and here's our advice: Get over it. Easier said than done, right? Wrong. All you need is The Original Dump Kit, the fastest way to get over a bad breakup (besides a gallon of ice cream and good chick flick, of course).
The ingenious little box, conceived and created by a woman who's been there herself, is filled with everything you need to bounce back. Inside, you'll find: A Stick-It-To-Him voodoo doll, so you can torture your ex; a "Dear Jerk" sample letter, ready for you to personalize; a "Snap Out of It" wristband, to remind you to get on with your life; a bull's-eye and dart; Wash-Your-Hands-of-Him soap; and a pin that declares "Stop me before I date again!"
Pick up a kit for yourself or a jilted pal for about 12 bucks at www.dumpkit.com. (And while you're there, log on to the site's message board and share your misery with others who have been recently dumped.) You'll feel better in no time.
