BATON ROUGE, La. -- Seimone Augustus scored 24 points on 10-of-12 shooting to lead LSU. Augustus, who has led the team in scoring in all three games this season, shot 7-of-8 for 14 first-half points to help LSU (3-0) open an 11-0 lead in the first 3 1/2 minutes. Temeka Johnson, LSU's 5-foot-3 point guard, got her fourth career double-double with 12 points and a team-high 11 assists. Kisha James added 11 points and Wendolyn Jones 10 for LSU, which hit 59 percent (36-of-61) of its shots from the floor. Tamica Pierce led the Owls (0-3) with 16 points.
No. 15 Louisiana Tech 72,Arkansas St. 54
JONESBORO, Ark. -- Cheryl Ford had 19 points and 15 rebounds to lead Louisiana Tech. Erica Smith scored 16 points and Tasha Crain added 10 points, five assists and two steals for the Lady Techsters (2-1), who took control with a 17-6 run to start the second half. Casie Lowman scored 16 points for Arkansas State (1-1).

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- India Lewis scored 26 points to lead Arkansas. Katrina Nesby added 19 points, and Lewis hit 11 free throws in the second half for the Lady Razorbacks (2-0), who shot 30-of-36 from the foul line. Kim Ortega led the Lady Frogs (1-1) with 13 points.
Michigan 70,No. 24 UC Santa Barbara 64
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Stephanie Gandy scored 15 points and Michigan closed the game with a 14-0 run. The Wolverines (2-0) rallied from a nine-point deficit late in the second half, tying the game on a pair of free throws by Gandy with 1:05 remaining. Lauren Andrews put Michigan ahead with two free throws with 32 seconds remaining. Kristen Mann led the Gauchos (1-1) with 14 points. Tabitha Pool blocked Mann's potential game-tying shot with 10 seconds left and hit two free throws at the other end.
