MEN'S TOP 25 No. 8 Florida stays unbeaten with rout of Coastal Carolina

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Freshman Anthony Roberson scored 26 points Sunday to lift No. 8 Florida to an 88-45 victory over Coastal Carolina.
Florida's Matt Walsh scored 19 points on 7-for-10 shooting and has 65 points in the Gators' first three games. Roberson has 59 for Florida (3-0).
Florida took a break from the Preseason NIT to play the absurdly overmatched Chanticleers (1-1), who fell behind by 16 after 10 minutes and didn't go on as much as a 4-0 run until 16 minutes remained in the second half.
Torrey Butler scored 17 points for the Chanticleers.
No. 11 Xavier 93, Florida A & amp;M 64
CINCINNATI -- Lionel Chalmers scored 16 points to lead Xavier's victory over Florida A & amp;M.
David West had 19 points, Romain Sato had 16, and Dave Young and Anthony Myles each scored 10 for Xavier (2-1).
Florida A & amp;M (0-1) didn't get much out of its marquee player -- 6-foot-10 center Jermaine Hill missed both of his shots, failed to get a rebound and had two fouls as Xavier pulled ahead 49-24 in the first half.
Dominique Jackson led Florida A & amp;M with 20 points. Nearly half of the Rattlers' shots (25 of 57) came from behind the 3-point arc.
No. 25 Tulsa 80, Texas-Pan American 50
SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas -- Kevin Johnson scored 21 points to lead Tulsa over Texas-Pan American at the South Padre Island Roundball Invitational Tournament.
Jason Parker scored 14 points, while Dante Swanson and Antonio Reed added 12 each for Tulsa (2-0) in the tournament's final game. Tulsa shot 56 percent from the floor.
Allen Holcomb had 18 points and nine rebounds for Texas-Pan American.
No. 10 Oregon 97, Grambling State 52
EUGENE, Ore. -- James Davis had 21 points on seven 3-pointers as Oregon opened its season with a rout of Grambling State in the John Thompson Foundation Challenge.
Luke Ridnour added 21 points and nine assists, and Luke Jackson had 14 points for Oregon, who will face Cal State Northridge -- winners over Jacksonville earlier Sunday -- in the title game Monday night.
It was the 17th overall win for the defending Pacific-10 Conference champions at McArthur Court, as well as their 11th straight season-opening victory.
The Tigers (0-2) were led by William McDonald with 17 points and nine rebounds, but were hampered with just 23 percent shooting from the floor and 25 turnovers.
