PROSTITUTION CRACKDOWN Youngstown arrests



Members of the Youngstown Police Department Vice Squad made these arrests over the weekend:
Rose M. Craig, 26, of East Ravenwood Avenue, charged with loitering to engage in prostitution and possession of drug paraphernalia (crack pipe). Police said they saw her flagging down cars on Hillman Street Friday night.
James Bryant, 36, of East Lucius Avenue, charged with loitering to engage in solicitation, drug abuse-marijuana, driving under suspension and falsification. Police said Craig got into Bryant's car. Police said Bryant initially gave them a false identity.
Tiffany Perkins, 31, of West Marion Avenue, arrested on a bench warrant on a charge of prostitution. She was picked up Saturday morning on Oakhill Avenue. Perkins is accused of failing to comply with court orders to pay fines in eight cases dating to 1994.
Tammy Norbert, 39, of West Chalmers Avenue, charged with soliciting for sex. Police said she offered a sex act for $20 to an undercover officer Saturday night on Hillman.
Sandra Day, 34, of the Rescue Mission, charged with soliciting for sex. Police said she offered a sex act for $25 to an undercover officer Saturday night on Lincoln Avenue.
Vivian Stanley, 44, of West Marion Avenue, charged with soliciting for sex and possession of drug paraphernalia (crack pipe). She was arrested Saturday night on Hillman.
