XCANFIELD -- St. Michael Church was the setting at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 26 as wedding vows were exchanged by Melissa A. Wayland and Kevin J. Crump.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. William Wayland, 2248 Innwood Drive, Austintown, and Mr. and Mrs. James Crump, 5845 Calico Lane, Canfield.
The Rev. Terry Hazel and the bride's uncle, the Rev. Thomas Begert-Clark, officiated, and a reception was held at St. Mary's Assumption Social Center in Youngstown. After a honeymoon to Disney World and cruise to the Bahamas, the couple live at 504 Moherman Ave., Youngstown.
The bride wore a gown styled with a satin bodice and sweetheart neckline. It was trimmed with beaded lace, and the organza skirt fell to a cathedral train.
Matron of honor was Patricia Stenger, and bridesmaids were Christine Palmer, the bride's cousin; Marla Morton; Stacy Wayland, her sister-in-law; and Heidi Roy, the groom's sister. They wore navy-blue gowns.
Kenny Oles was best man, and groomsmen were Brian Yeager and Fred Kelly, the groom's cousins; Rob Choby; and Shawn Wayland, the bride's brother. David Timlin, his cousin, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Crump holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Youngstown State University and is a payroll specialist at Davey Tree Expert Co. in Kent.
Her husband graduated from Hocking College with an associate degree in forestry and is a certified arborist. He is a sales and service technician with Davey Tree in Youngstown.
