XOAK RIDGE, Tenn. -- Kari Lisa Selby and Charles Marshall Jibotian were married at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 26 at First United Methodist Church by the Rev. Don Thomas.
The bride is a daughter of Dr. Paul and Patricia Selby of Oak Ridge, and Mr. Jibotian is a son of John and Linda Jibotian of Warren.
A reception took place at the Garden Plaza Hotel, and the couple honeymooned on the French Polynesian islands of Bora Bora and Moorea. They live in Columbus.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless ball gown of pearl satin designed with a mock-basque waist. The bodice was adorned with pearls and rhinestones, and the fully shirred skirt flowed to a semicathedral train.
Kristi Selby Briscoe was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Amy Alcorn, Alisha Basseen, Jaime Ewalt, Dawn Goronzy, Andrea Larson, Jenny Letourneau, Elizabeth Jibotian, Amanda Johnson, Taryn Ross and Sara Temple. They wore two-piece, claret-colored ensembles. Flower girls wearing white were Anna Marie Marino and Katie Starrett.
Best man was Dr. Jonathan Caupp, and groomsmen were Dr. Troy Brandt, Brian Briscoe, Drew Farneth, Benjamin Fritz, Nathan Rushing, Jamie Ross, David Rutter, Andrew Senchak, John Taylor and Brian Weese. Owen Rutter and Lucas Young were ring bearers.
The bride is a graduate student in the child clinical psychology doctoral program at Ohio State University. Mr. Jibotian is a licensed pharmacist with Big Bear Corp. in Columbus.
