Di Lallo jubilee is celebrated at three events



XLIBERTY -- A surprise party was held Nov. 4 in the Bermuda Room at the Trade Winds Resort in St. Petersburg Beach, Fla., in celebration of the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Di Lallo of 3901 Logan Way.
Hosts for the event were their children Frank Di Lallo of Sylvania, Pa.; Mary Ann Di Lallo of Terra Verde, Fla.; and Mark Di Lallo of Youngstown.
Also held was a party given by their children on Oct. 27 at their home, and a dinner and weekend at the Gran Hotel in Gulfport, Miss., arranged by Sonny and Barbara Katz of Florida, Mrs. Di Lallo's brother-in-law and sister.
The couple, who were married Nov. 4, 1952, in Florence, S.C., have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. They are members of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Youngstown.
Mrs. Di Lallo, the former Ruth Cox Phillips, served on the board of directors and delivered meals for 18 years with Trumbull Mobile Meals. She has been involved in many musical productions in the area and has served as a volunteer with Stars, Hospice and Goodwill Vision Screening.
Mr. Di Lallo is semiretired after 50 years of service with Local 179 Cement Masons. He served as a sergeant first class with the U.S. Army in Korea, and is a past president of Liberty Optimists. He is also a lifetime member of the Musicians Local 86.
