XSALEM -- The Rev. Claye Folger solemnized the marriage of Kristina Hazel, a daughter of William and Karen Hazel, 12205 Goshen Road, and Brian Brunk, a son of Greg and Barbara Brunk, 1322 Treasch Drive, Cuyahoga Falls, at 4 p.m. Oct. 12 at First Baptist Church.
Afterward the couple were honored during a reception at the Timberlanes before leaving for a honeymoon in the Bahamas. They live at 2490 Brayton Ave., Alliance.
Designed with a pearl-enhanced tank top, the bride's white gown featured a full skirt and a chapel train. A silver and pearl crown held her veil, and she carried a bouquet of roses and daisies.
Navy-blue and silver gowns were worn by Angie Falzetta of Leetonia, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Renee Foerster of Virginia Beach, Va.; Jennifer Pomaro of Poland, the bride's cousin; Mary Hazel of Sebring, her sister-in-law; and Devera Bonica of Boardman. Flower girls were her nieces, Kayla and Karisa Hazel of Sebring.
The duties of best man were performed by Terry Brown of Jacksonville, Fla., and groomsmen were Jason Brunk of Cuyahoga Falls, the groom's brother; Richard Gannon of Akron, his uncle; Gerry Hrdlicka of Newton Falls; and Scott Hazel of Sebring, a brother of the bride. Serving as ring bearer was her nephew, Scott Hazel Jr. of Sebring.
