The totally appealing/appalling boy report, from Seventeen magazine:
Sweet
My mother volunteered me to baby-sit for my cousins on the day I was already scheduled to help decorate for the school dance. My only option was to bring my cousins with me. They are 2 and 4 years old and adorable, but it was hard to get anything done with them there. I took them out into the hall to let them get a drink from the water fountain, and a really cute guy from school noticed that I was having a difficult time. He took them into the gym, where he entertained them for an hour while I finished decorating. As if that wasn't sweet enough, he walked us home, and the 2-year-old fell asleep on his shoulder.
Slimy
I was hanging out with this guy I liked. We would talk on the phone all the time. But we never really went out in public. This continued for about a month, and then one day we were talking about "us" and whether or not we should be boyfriend and girlfriend. He said, "You're not like the girls I usually go out with." "How is that?" I asked. And he said, "Well, I just can't see myself dating you because you're too fat!" (I'm size 11, so I don't know where "fat" came from.) And to top it off, when I told him he was wrong for saying that and he should at least apologize, he tried to justify what he'd said and refused to tell me he was sorry.
