ST. LOUIS -- Alexander Khavanov got his second game-winning goal of the season when he scored at 1:02 of overtime. Khavanov beat Felix Potvin from about 20 feet. Doug Weight had scored for St. Louis with 39 seconds remaining to tie the game. Jaroslav Modry's goal at 15:45 had given the Kings a 2-1 lead.
Devils 4, Rangers 4
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Mark Messier scored on a backhander in close with 3:35 remaining in regulation. Tom Poti, Petr Nedved and Radek Dvorak scored for the Rangers. Sergei Brylin, Jeff Friesen, Patrik Elias and Brian Gionta scored for the Devils.
Flyers 2, Sharks 2
PHILADELPHIA -- Jeremy Roenick's power-play goal with 7:29 remaining in regulation gave Philadelphia its fourth tie in five games. Teemu Selanne and Patrick Marleau scored for San Jose.
Islanders 7, Lightning 2
TAMPA, Fla. -- Jason Blake had two goals and two assists, and Jason Wiemer added a goal and three assists for New York. Garth Snow made 29 saves for New York. Mark Parrish had two goals for the Islanders.
Bruins 3, Hurricanes 1
BOSTON -- Glen Murray scored his 200th and 201st career goals, and Brian Rolston added a short-handed tally for Boston. Carolina took a 1-0 lead in the opening period on Kevyn Adams' goal.
Wild 4, Capitals 3
WASHINGTON -- Pascal Dupuis had a goal and two assists for Minnesota. His goal gave the Wild a 4-2 lead at 9:52 of the third period.
Senators 3, Canadiens 2
OTTAWA -- Chris Phillips scored his first goal of the season late in the second period to lead Ottawa. Phillips, a defenseman held to two assists through 16 games, scored 18:33 into the second to break a 2-2 tie. Montreal's Jeff Hackett made 34 saves, but lost for just the second time in 10 games.
Predators 1, Avalanche 1
DENVER -- Andreas Johansson scored 14 seconds into the third period for Nashville. Rob Blake had a first-period goal for the Avalanche. Nashville goaltender Tomas Vokoun withstood Colorado's 9-3 edge in shots in overtime, finishing with 31 saves. Colorado's Patrick Roy had 29 saves, including a solid third period in which his team was outshot 14-2. Peter Forsberg had an apparent goal disallowed when Avalanche teammate Vaclav Nedorost was whistled for interference.
Oilers 3, Flames 1
CALGARY, Alberta -- Todd Marchant scored twice and set up Shawn Horcoff's tiebreaking goal as Edmonton stretched Calgary's losing streak to seven games. The Flames have scored just three times during their losing streak in which they have been shut out four times. Edmonton has won four of five. Defenseman Petr Buzek was the unlikely goal scorer for Calgary. He tallied his first of the season and just his second in 52 career games with the Flames. Tommy Salo turned in another strong start making 26 saves for the Oilers.
