ASSOCIATIONS
XBoardman-Canfield Branch of the American Association of University Women will meet at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 2 at Diamond Back Golf Course, Ellsworth. After dinner a Christmas party will be held. AUXILIARIES
XEighth District Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars will meet Dec. 8 at Western Reserve VFW Post 1055, 6000 New Milford Road, Ravenna. Breakfast will be from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., registration from 7:30 to noon and the meeting from 10 to 2 p.m. Hospital chairmen should take lap robes for judging and clothing donations for the Ohio Veterans Home. Youth activities chairmen should take entries for the Young Patriotic Arts Contest.

XMcDonald Parents of Performing Arts will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.
XNew Middletown Homemakers will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the C & amp;C Clubhouse. Each member is to take a needle and scissors for the needlepoint Christmas tree project; kits are available. Hostesses will be Florence Rearick and Esther Boyce. A $5 gift exchange will be held at the Christmas party at 11 a.m. Dec. 9 at the club.
COMMITTEES
XWomen's Committee For Children's Concerts will meet Monday at the Youngstown Club. There will be a social at 9:30 a.m. followed by the meeting at 10. Isaiah Jackson, conductor of the Youngstown Symphony, will be guest speaker. Hostesses will be Marguerite DeMart and Joan Komp.
GRANGES
XDublin Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the grange hall. The business meeting will be followed by delegates' reports of the state grange convention. Members are asked to take pasta for the Thanksgiving project.
POLITICAL CLUBS
XGirard Men's Democrat Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Parkwood Youth Center, Trumbull Avenue.
XMahoning County Republican Women will meet at noon Tuesday at Denny's in Austintown. Plans will be made for a Christmas party.
RELIGIOUS GROUPS
XOur Lady of Perpetual Help Church Altar and Rosary Society will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
XUnited Methodist Women of Richard Brown Memorial United Methodist Church will meet Dec. 5 at the church. Eleanor Frost will preside at the 12:15 p.m. executive meeting and give the blessing at the Christmas dinner to be served at 1 by the president and her committee. Karen Myers will present a holiday program. Food donations will be collected for the Methodist Community Center. There will be no meeting in January.
SERVICE CLUBS
XGirard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Girard Masonic Temple.
XGirard-Liberty Rotary will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the MetroPlex Centre in Liberty.
SINGLES
XD.A.R.E. members will attend a movie at Movies 8 Shops in the Park, Boardman at 6:30 p.m. today, go bowling at Boardman Lanes at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, and dance at Choices in the Holiday Inn, Liberty, at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, cost is $4.
XOriginal Christian Singles will hold a Christmas party at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 2 at Yankee Kitchen, 6635 Market St., Boardman. Participants should take a wrapped item for a gift exchange.
