JOINING ALLIANCE: Workers hang up national flags of the NATO member countries on the main Sofia square in front of the former Communist Party headquarters in Bulgaria. Bulgaria, along with six other former communist countries, received an invitation today to join NATO.
The summit in Prague, Czech Republic, begins today.
