Jif's Most Creative Peanut Butter Sandwich Contest for Kids is open to 6- to 12-year-olds who create a peanut butter combination supreme.
Those entering the contest must submit a list of all ingredients, a description of how it is prepared and an illustration or photograph of the sandwich along with their name, address, phone number and age.
Entry forms and rules may be obtained online at www.jif.com and entered online or entry forms printed out and submitted by mail to Jif's Most Creative Peanut Butter Sandwich Contest for Kids, care of Cohn & amp; Wolfe, 292 Madison Ave., Fl. 8, New York, N.Y. 10017. To obtain rules by mail, send a stamped, self-address business-size envelope to the contest address. Employees and others affiliated with the J.M. Smucker Co. are not eligible.
Contest deadline is Jan. 10. The grand prize winner will receive a $1,000 savings bond, and runners-up will get $100 savings bonds and Jif gift baskets.
Decorations
YOUNGSTOWN -- Holiday home decorating enthusiasts have an opportunity to win Sears gift card prizes ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 by competing in the "Sears Search for America's Most Festive Home" contest.
Participants have until Dec. 12 to submit 10 photos of the exterior of a decorated home and an essay of 200 word or less describing personal plans, passion and dedication for holiday decorating.
