2-vehicle crash leaves woman hurt

LISBON -- A two-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 30 in Madison Township injured a Clyde, Ohio, woman.
Denise L. Kimberlin, 44, was treated Wednesday at East Liverpool City Hospital and transferred to UPMC Health System, Pittsburgh.
The Lisbon post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported Kimberlin was eastbound on Route 30 about 11:25 a.m. Wednesday when her car struck the rear of a tractor-trailer at the intersection of Route 30 and state Route 45.
The patrol said Robert Williams, 66 of Shelbyville, Ind., was southbound on Route 45 and stopped at the stop sign at the Route 30 intersection. He then attempted to turn left onto Route 30 and was struck by Kimberlin's car.
Both Kimberlin and Williams were wearing seat belts. Williams was cited for failure to yield.
