NHL ROUNDUP Sunday's games
Stars 3, Blue Jackets 2, OT
DALLAS -- Scott Young scored with 1 minute, 4 seconds remaining in regulation, then Pierre Turgeon tipped in a long swat by Young 3:19 into overtime to rally Dallas over Columbus. The Blue Jackets appeared headed to their first-ever win in Dallas as they led 2-0 with goaltender Marc Denis playing fabulously. But Bill Guerin scored on a cross-ice pass from Mike Modano with 6:54 remaining to begin the Stars' comeback, then Young scored seconds after Dallas pulled Marty Turco for an extra skater. Denis, who had 38 saves in a 4-2 victory over Dallas on Nov. 1, made 39 stops. Columbus went up 1-0 on only its second shot, when Geoff Sanderson scored on a perfect give-and-go with Andrew Cassel. It was Sanderson's 12th goal of the season and eighth in seven games. Cassels earned a point in his ninth straight game. The Blue Jackets killed three penalties in a 7:43 span midway through the second period, then went up 2-0 seconds later on a poke by Ray Whitney from the edge of the crease.
