Marsalis offers master class

YOUNGSTOWN -- Branford Marsalis will conduct a master class Friday at Youngstown State University.
The free class, which is open to the public, will begin at 4 p.m. in Bliss Hall, Room 2326. Parking is available, but not free, at the Wick Avenue parking deck.

In addition to his popular recordings and performances, Marsalis is a part-time member of the music faculty at San Francisco State University. This follows a previous association with Michigan State University, where Marsalis taught both as a visiting scholar and a part-time faculty member.
