Atlanta celebratesParis in citywide events
Inspired by its exhibition "Paris in the Age of Impressionism: Masterworks from the Musee d'Orsay," the High Museum of Art is conducting a citywide festival, "Paris in Atlanta," celebrating French culture. A series of programs and activities is planned at the High and other cultural institutions through April.
"Paris in Atlanta" also features special promotions at local restaurants, hotels and spas organized by the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The High's exhibit will open Saturday and run through March 16.

Culinary packageat Santa Fe hotel
Back by popular demand, the Muy Sabrosa ("very tasty") package will be offered now through June at Inn on the Alameda in Santa Fe. The culinary package includes a 2 1/2-hour class at the Santa Fe School of Cooking, founded by Susan Curtis, a respected figure in contemporary Southwestern cuisine.
The package begins at $310 per couple and also includes accommodations for two nights, a breakfast buffet each morning, a wine and cheese reception each day and a 20 percent discount at Ristra, a Santa Fe restaurant. Cooking classes are offered at 10 a.m. most Tuesdays and Saturdays.
