The theft of cash from a woman's dress shop is the focus of Mercer County Crime Solvers this week:
Crime: Theft.Location: Sharon.Details: Police said a man and a woman accompanied by a small child entered Helen Freed's Inc. at 169 E. State St. at 4 p.m. Thursday, and while the man distracted store employees, the woman took an undisclosed amount of cash from behind the counter. They left the store before the theft was discovered.Suspects: The two were described as a black woman between 25 and 30 years of age, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 145 pounds and wearing a black leather jacket, and a black man between 25 and 30, between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall with a stocky build and wearing a black leather jacket with a red design on the back.Contact: Call Crime Solvers between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at (724) 347-HELP.
