XYOUNGSTOWN -- A honeymoon in Jamaica followed the 2 p.m. wedding ceremony at which nuptial vows were exchanged by Christine Bialik, 450 Mathews Road, Boardman and Shawn Stevens, 26807 Lake Vue Drive, Perrysburg, on Oct. 12 at St. Dominic Catholic Church.
The Rev. Brian Mulcahy officiated for the daughter of John and Joyce Bialik of the Boardman address and son of Lucille Hensinger, 14347 Nieves Circle, Wintergarden, Fla.
Afterward the newlyweds were honored during a reception held at St. Nicholas Byzantine Center.
The bride wore a strapless white princess-style gown encrusted by beading and featuring a sweep train.
Wearing platinum gowns were the honor attendant, Briana Dunn, and the bridesmaids, Aicia Broll and Camille Broll, nieces of the bride; Christina Stevens, the groom's sister; Jennifer Braker; Kimberly Fitzpatrick; and Malysa Niederkohr.
John Niederkohr served as best man, and groomsmen were David Hensinger, the groom's brother; John Bialik Jr., a brother of the bride; Alex Apotsos; Gregory Apotsos; Justin Krengel; and Ryan Thatcher.
The bride is pursuing a degree in technology education at Bowling Green State University.
The groom, a graduate of BGSU with a degree in psychology, is director of business development with Rawhide Search Solutions in Toledo.
The couple live in Perrysburg.
