XALLENTOWN, Pa. -- Jamaica was the honeymoon destination of Dr. Mark Edward Rea and his bride, the former Carrie Anne Boris, both of 101 Brynfield Way, Harrisburg, Pa., who were married Oct. 12 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
Monsignor John P. Murphy and the Rev. Bernard Ezaki officiated at the 3 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Raymond and Averil Boris, 821 S. Hayes St., and the son of Ernest and Carole Rea, 1210 Chestnut Grove Road, Salem. A reception followed at St. Thomas More Family Center.
A beaded bodice and cathedral train highlighted the bride's gown.
Honor attendants were Karen Cummings and Rhonda Rea, the groom's sister-in-law. Bridesmaids were Lori Boris, Amy Driscoll, Stacey Boris and Nicole Boris, the bride's sisters, and Jillian Hanley. They wore hunter-green dresses. Flower girls were Julia Ferry and Marisa Butillo.
The groom's brother, Michael Rea, was best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Boris, the bride's brother; Chad Driscoll, the bride's brother-in-law; and Jason Julian; Joseph Boivin; David Saranchak; and Dr. James Kravec.
Mrs. Rea graduated cum laude from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, with a doctor of pharmacy degree. She is a pharmacist at Rite Aid Pharmacy, Harrisburg.
Dr. Rea graduated summa cum laude from DU with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry. He earned a doctor of medicine degree at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, Rootstown, and is an internal medicine resident at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pa.
