ART AND CRAFT SHOW Butler to present 'American Holiday'



The show will feature more than 100 unique artisans.
YOUNGSTOWN - The Butler Institute of American Art will sponsor its annual fine art and craft show, "An American Holiday," Dec. 6-8 at the museum, 524 Wick Ave.
Among items being offered by the more than 100 artisans participating in the 32nd show will be jewelry, furniture, ceramics, paintings, sculptures, photographs, decorative crafts and metal, glass and fiber art.
A preview party for Butler members is planned from 7 to 10 p.m. Dec. 6. The cost is $20 for members and $25 for guests of members. The event will include hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. Reservations are required and may be made by calling (330) 743-1711 Ext. 117. Those attending will receive an art book.

The show will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 7 and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 8. Admission is $3 for adults and free for children under 12.
Free fine-art appraisals will be available from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 8 by the Bonfoey Co. of Cleveland. For information on this service call (330) 743-1711 Ext. 112.
Entertainment at the event will be the Youngstown Connection, Jocko the Clown, caricature artist Richard Muccio, the Suzuki Players, Treyvoice and Elysia Shutrump.

Proceeds from the show will benefit the Butler's children's programs.
