XYOUNGSTOWN -- St. Christine Church provided the setting Oct. 12 for the wedding of Amanda Renee Guthrie and Russell Lane Frederick, both of 1877 Annalee Drive, Antioch, Tenn., who were married by Monsignor David Rhodes and the Rev. James Wise during a 2 p.m. ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Donald T. and Deborah A. Guthrie, 2505 Vollmer Drive, and the groom is a son of Kathleen A. Frederick, 915 Kingsway Circle, Howard, and the late Rev. David C. Frederick.
Before leaving on a honeymoon to Hilton Head, S.C., the couple were honored at a reception at McMenamy's in Niles.
The bride's diamond-white gown was adorned with embroidered roses and styled with a cathedral-length train.
Honor attendant was Kristy Guthrie, and bridesmaids were Doreen Duganne, Erin Carlton, Kara Bechdolt, Joanna Andrei, Karina Mazuelos, Katie Hall and Jennifer Boucher. They wore ruby-red dresses. Flower girls were Madison Sherock and Meredith Sherock.
Michael Nyers served as best man. Groomsmen were Brian DiTullio, Joel Smith, Tim McQuillan, Brian Hreha, Anthony Codespote, David Guthrie and Eric Frederick. Junior groomsmen were Jaime and Justin Boucher and ring bearer was Nicholas Sherock. Ushers were Matthew Causer, Matthew Shope and Eric Vuksanovich.
Mr. and Mrs. Frederick attended Youngstown State University. A photographer, the bride is employed by the Picture People in Nashville, Tenn. The groom owns Platinum Entertainment, Nashville.
