XSAGAMORE HILLS -- Brandywine Ski Resort was the setting at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 12 as the Rev. Fred Wright officiated for the outdoor wedding ceremony of Diedre Muzenic and Richard C. Ruva. Parents of the bride are Linda Muzenic, 2716 Forest Green Drive, Austintown, and Donald Muzenic, 246 Montrose Ave., Liberty. Mr. Ruva is a son of Louise and Raymond Vogt, 1691 E. Haymarket Way, Hudson.
A reception followed at the resort, and the couple spent their honeymoon in Nova Scotia, Canada. They live in Kennebunkport, Maine.
Fashioned of ivory satin, the bride's gown had a sheer overlay enhanced with embroidery and pearls. It had a square neckline, cap sleeves and an empire waist.
Mary Blanchard was maid of honor, gowned in forest green. Matron of honor, Amy Stellutto wore a maroon gown. Bridesmaid was Elizabeth Brown, the groom's sister, who was wearing a midnight blue.gown
Best man was Gregory Vogt, the groom's brother, and groomsmen were William Talsma, his cousin, and Daniel Brown his brother-in-law. Ushers were Richard Puls, the groom's cousin, and Dominic Stellutto.
Mrs. Ruva graduated from Long Island University-Southampton College, Southampton, N.Y., with a bachelor's degree in marine science. She is a veterinary technician in marine rehabilitation at the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine.
Her husband holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Illinois and is a veterinary technician at Animal Neurological Clinic in Portland, Maine.
The couple both have associate degrees in veterinary technology from Cuyahoga Community College.
