Summary of police activity:
GIRARD
Nov. 11
Domestic violence: Police arrested an East Howard Street man on a domestic violence charge after his wife said he beat her 16-year-old son and struck her. The boy also was charged with domestic violence after police say he admitted hitting the man, who had a mark near his right eye.
Criminal damage: Someone used a BB gun to damage a vehicle's windshield in the 400 block of Indiana Avenue.
Attempted breaking and entering: A woman in the 300 block of Jones Court reported someone damaged a door to her residence while trying to break in.
Theft: A woman in the 700 block of Trumbull Lot alleged a 13-year-old boy stole her son's bicycle from her front yard.
Arrest: Police arrested a Plymouth Avenue man on numerous charges, including leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under a suspended license after a woman said he left after hitting her vehicle on Elruth Avenue.
Assault: A woman in the 100 block of East Main Street reported her 16-year-old son was assaulted at a residence in the 100 block of East Wilson Avenue. The boy had a cut on his forehead.
Threat: A Patricia Avenue woman alleged her former boss left a threatening note on her apartment door after she complained he was harassing her.
Theft: A teacher at Girard High School, 31 N. Ward Ave., reported a computer hard drive was stolen from a school computer lab.
Nov. 12
Warrant: After stopping a suspicious vehicle, police arrested a Warren man on one count of failure to appear in court to face a drug charge.
Assault: A woman in the 200 block of East Broadway Avenue reported two men assaulted her 15-year-old son during an altercation in front of the residence. One of the men also told police the woman's son assaulted him, and he had several cuts and bruises on his arms and legs.
Threat/theft: A woman in the 700 block of Trumbull Lot reported her former boyfriend threatened to blow up her residence and left various threatening messages on her answering machine. She also reported two money orders totaling $120 were missing from her home.
Nov. 13
Burglary: A woman in the 100 block of West Second Street reported someone broke into her residence and stole four chrome tire rims for her vehicle.
LIBERTY
Nov. 5
Breaking and entering/theft: Someone broke into the garage at a residence in the 2900 block of Jefferson Street and stole a 2002 Honda 300 EX four-wheeler, an electric nail gun, a wallet organizer and various credit cards.
Theft: A woman in the 100 block of Mansell Drive reported $102 worth of fraudulent withdrawals were made on her Second National Bank account.
Criminal damage: A man in the 100 block of Goldie Road reported someone entered his vehicle and damaged two of its tires.
Nov. 6
Auto theft: A 1988 Buick Park Avenue was stolen from the parking lot at Rondinelli's Tuxedo Rental, 2710 Belmont Ave.
Theft/criminal damage: A citizens band radio, a radar jammer device and $700 were removed from a car, which had a vent window broken, parked in the 3100 block of Belmont Avenue.
Credit-card fraud: A woman in the 2400 block of Fifth Avenue reported someone removed her Visa credit card from her residence and used it to make $1,103 worth of unauthorized purchases.
Warrant: Police arrested a 19-year-old Girard man on one count of failure to appear in court to answer a traffic violation.
Arrest: Police arrested a 28-year-old Youngstown man on a probation violation charge.
Warrant: After pulling over his vehicle, police arrested a 34-year-old Youngstown man on a domestic violence charge. He also was wanted on a Campbell warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on one count of driving under a suspended license.
Warrants: After conducting a vehicle registration check, police arrested a 27-year-old Youngstown man on one count of failure to appear in court to face a theft charge. A 27-year-old Youngstown woman also was arrested and charged with failure to appear in court on a theft warrant.
Nov. 7
Theft: A 12-inch TV and CB radio were stolen from a vehicle in the 3100 block of Belmont Avenue.
Warrant: After conducting a traffic stop, police arrested a 41-year-old Niles man on one count of failure to appear in court on income tax charges.
Auto theft: A 1987 Buick Electra was stolen from a parking lot in the 200 block of Colonial Drive.
Nov. 8
Warrant: After stopping a vehicle for having no front license plate, police arrested a 35-year-old Youngstown man on one count of failure to appear in court to face a traffic charge. He also was cited after police found an instrument containing suspected marijuana in the car.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 38-year-old Girard man on a domestic violence charge after a woman said he punched her in the mouth during an argument. The victim had an injured lip.
Warrant: Police arrested a 31-year-old Girard man on an outstanding warrant from West Virginia charging him with various felony drug offenses, including conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance.
Warrant: Police arrested a 19-year-old Niles man at Trumbull County Jail on one count of failure to appear in court to face a charge of passing bad checks.
Nov. 9
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 33-year-old Youngstown man in the 4100 block of Madison Avenue on a domestic violence charge after his former girlfriend said he shoved her against a wall, knocking off her glasses. The woman had a cut near her left eye.
Theft: Someone removed a vehicle's rear license plate in the 2600 block of Homestead Road.

Nov. 6
Bad check: A man in the 100 block of West Water Street reported receiving an $800 check from a Poland man that was returned for insufficient funds.
Nov. 8
Arrest: Police arrested a Hubbard man at the Mahoning County Jail on an outstanding warrant.
Nov. 9
Theft: Various items were removed from a vehicle in the 400 block of West Liberty Street.
Theft: A man reported he accidentally left a tool box in his truck while he was at the North Main Street Car Wash and that it was gone when he returned for it.
Nov. 10
Theft: An undetermined number of items were removed from a vehicle in the 20 block of West Liberty Street.
Nov. 11
Possible breaking and entering: A man called police after he heard suspicious noises inside Frankie's Main Street Cafe, 368 N. Main St.
Criminal mischief: An employee at Taco Bell, 731 W. Liberty St., reported several juveniles tossed a garbage can into the parking lot.
Vandalism, breaking and entering: An employee at The Gentry, 116 E. Liberty St., reported someone broke into and vandalized the business.
Nov. 12
Criminal damage: Someone tossed a rock through a rear door at the Emerald Diner, 825 N. Main St.
Breaking and entering: An employee at Antenucci's Restaurant reported someone broke into the business.
