Second Harvest Foodbank of the Mahoning Valley, 1122 E. Midlothian Blvd., will benefit by two area business promotions under way:
During November, customers making a monetary or food donation at any one of LaFrance Cleaners' five area locations will receive $1 off their next dry-cleaning order and have a "Shirt for Hunger" displayed in their honor as part of the Clean Up Hunger drive to support the food bank. Pampered Chef consultants are conducting the "Round Up from the Heart" campaign through Feb. 28. All purchases will be rounded up to the nearest dollar and the difference will go to the food bank.
Also, Phyllis Echement, local Pampered Chef food bank coordinator, is sponsoring a fund-raiser to benefit the food bank. Thirty percent of the proceeds of products bought through this project will benefit the food bank.

Last year the project raised more than $4,000.
Second Harvest provides food to 200 hunger relief organizations in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties.
