FLU SHOTS Local clinics

A list of clinics where flu shots and pneumonia vaccines will be administered:
The Mahoning County Board of Health will offer a flu and pneumonia clinic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at Clear Channel, 7461 South Ave., Boardman. No appointment is necessary. The cost is $10 for the flu shot; $20 for the pneumonia vaccine. People on traditional Medicare must bring their card so the cost can be billed.
Senior Independence Home Health Care will offer flu shots from 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 19 at Christ Church Presbyterian, 1933 Canfield Road. Traditional Medicare recipients will not be billed. For all others, the cost is $18.
The Youngstown City Board of Health will offer flu and pneumonia shots at these times and places in Youngstown:
Thursday: YWCA, 25 W. Rayen Ave., 8:30-10:30 a.m.
Friday: Youngstown Baptist Church, 554 S. Meridian Road, 5-7 p.m.
Nov. 18: Youngstown City Health District office, 345 Oak Hill Ave., 8:30-10:30 a.m. and 1-2:30 p.m.
Nov. 27: Youngstown City Health District office, 1-2:30 p.m.
Dec. 4: Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County, Wick and Rayen avenues, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Dec. 16: Youngstown City Health District office, 8:30-10:30 a.m. and 1-2:30 p.m.
Dec. 30: Youngstown City Health District, 1-2:30 p.m.
The flu shot is $10; the pneumonia shot is $15. No appointment is necessary. Medicare recipients must bring their cards.
