Hornets 97, Knicks 91, OT
NEW YORK -- Baron Davis took over in overtime when the Knicks didn't have a point guard to defend him. Davis scored five of his 24 points and had two of his seven assists in overtime, when the Hornets scored the final 10 points of the game. P.J. Brown added 16 points and 11 rebounds and Jamal Mashburn just missed a triple-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists. For the Knicks, Allan Houston scored 27 but missed four of his five shots in overtime. Lee Nailon added 18 against his former team.
Clippers 120, Magic 117
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Corey Maggette led a late surge and Los Angeles overcame a seven-point deficit in the final 3:13. The Clippers led by 10 early in the fourth quarter. But Orlando's Darrell Armstrong scored eight consecutive points, including a pair of free throws that put the Magic ahead 113-106. After Armstrong missed a 3-pointer, Keyon Dooling's free throws put Los Angeles ahead for good. Andre Miller scored 29 points for the Clippers. Eric Piatkowski and Michael Olowokandi each had a season-high 21 points and Maggette finished with 19. Elton Brand had 16 points and a game-high 12 rebounds for Los Angeles.
Kings 105, Hawks 97
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Chris Webber scored 27 points and Sacramento remained unbeaten at home. Ahead by four points heading into the final period, the Kings went on a 16-5 run. Bobby Jackson closed the streak with a 3-pointer and a long jumper, giving Sacramento a 91-77 lead midway through the quarter. Jackson scored 23 points and had five steals for Sacramento, which is 4-0 at Arco Arena. Despite a scoreless first half, Doug Christie finished with 19 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for the Kings. Peja Stojakovic made three 3-pointers and had 17 points and Vlade Divac added nine points, 10 rebounds and six assists. Shareef Abdur-Rahim made 14 of 16 free throws and finished with 32 points and seven rebounds for Atlanta. Glenn Robinson had 15 points and nine rebounds for the Hawks, who lost their third straight game, all on the road. Reserve Dion Glover scored 13 points and Theo Ratliff contributed 12 points and 13 rebounds. Jason Terry had nine points and 10 assists for the Hawks.
