Wreath and poinsettia sale set by Children's Aid Society

A variety of holiday decorations is available.
MERCER, Pa. -- The Children's Aid Society of Mercer County is sponsoring its annual holiday wreath and poinsettia sale through Nov. 22.
The wreaths are available for $12 for plain or $15 with red or patriotic bow. These wreaths are 20- to 24-inches in diameter. Deluxe wreaths with a red or patriotic bow and cones and berries are $18 and are 24- to 26-inches.
Evergreen swags also are available and feature cones, berries and a red or patriotic bow. They cost $12.
Poinsettia plants will be available in two styles. The six-inch pot with one plant costs $7, and an eight-inch pot with three to four plants is available for $12. The colors are red, white, plum pudding and marblestar.
To place an order, call the agency at (724) 662-4730 or Carol Smith at (724) 588-6203. Orders may be picked up between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Dec. 5 at the agency, 350 W. Market St.
The purpose
All proceeds benefit the programs and services of the Children's Aid Society, a nonprofit agency that has served children and families since 1889.
Darlene McBride, auxiliary treasurer, is sale chairwoman, and Carol Smith, auxiliary president, is co-chairwoman. Committee members are Ginny Smith, Betty Smith, Janet Kerschner, Ruth Wingard, Shirley Young, Sonya Ohler, Julie Anhalt and Phyllis Thompson.
