Sankovich 50th celebrated at family dinner

XBESSEMER, Pa. -- Mr. and Mrs. Miro Sankovich, Bessemer-Mount Jackson Road, were honored Oct. 19 during a dinner at Shakespeare's Restaurant at Olde Stonewall Golf Club in Ellwood City, Pa., for the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Arrangements for the festivity were made by the honorees' children and spouses, James and Kathy Sankovich of Evans City, Pa., and Gerald Sankovich, John and Nancy Loth, and David and Carrie Sankovich, all of Bessemer.
The former Jean Puz and Mr. Sankovich exchanged marriage vows Oct. 18, 1952, at St. Anthony Church.
Retiring in 1986, Mr. Sankovich was a self-employed carpenter and building contractor.
Mrs. Sankovich is a homemaker.
The couple are members of Christ the King Parish in Hillsville.
The family circle includes four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
